About the Project

M2 Civils were appointed by the Principal Contractor to provide a vertical extension to an existing Reinforced concrete sampling chamber to allow chlorine injection lances to be installed on an existing 600mm clean water pipe.

The works involved removal and replacement of the existing concrete cover slab, installation of high level deck scaffold to act as a working platform, the breaking out and making good of the existing chamber, steel fixing, internal and external carpentry for the extension shutters, concrete pour to the extension, retaining walls and footpaths to provide a better access to the chamber, Soft landscaping. Completed on time and within budget.
